Playa Scuba

Our shark Scuba Dive is a dive program that will introduce thrill seeking divers to wild sharks and provide a close up look at these magnificent and mysterious creatures.

Your Playa del Carmen Shark Diving Adventure begins at 8 AM at our shop where we will gear up grab our shark stick and walk down to the boat. There will be a full briefing and a simulation how to position ourselves and an explanation about shark behavior what to do and what not. We will check the gear and make shure everything is in the right place

There are currently two sites where we dive with the sharks. You will dive either the combination of “Shark Wall” and “The Arena”  At either location you will encounter a gathering of Bull sharks and Caribbean Reef Sharks on a consistent basis.

On this dive we will take a 10 minute boat ride to our shark sites and decend down to aprox.55 -70 ft depending where they are.
 Unlike ordinary dives, you will spend this dive kneeling on the sand bottom. Divers form a semi-circle in front of our professional shark specialist .
The total tour time from pick up to drop off is approximately 4.5 hours. This is the experience of a lifetime for certified divers. Don’t miss it. Sign up early as space is limited.
